Common use of IDENTIFICATION AND CONSENT PROCEDURES Clause in Contracts

IDENTIFICATION AND CONSENT PROCEDURES. 1. When a prospective employee or dispatched worker arrives at the job site for potential employment, he/she will be shown and sign a copy of the Pre-Employment Substance Abuse Prevention Testing Consent/Waiver Form attached as Attachment 4 before taking a preemployment drug or alcohol screening test. An employee who is working on the Project and has submitted to the pre-employment drug and alcohol test and has tested negative may thereafter be required to submit to drug or alcohol testing only if the Contractor has "reasonable cause" to believe that the employee is under the influence of drugs or alcohol in violation of this Policy or in connection with an accident as set out above in this Policy.
