Common use of Idiopathic Xxxxxxxxx’x Disease Clause in Contracts

Idiopathic Xxxxxxxxx’x Disease. The unequivocal diagnosis of idiopathic Xxxxxxxxx’x Disease by a consultant neurologist. This diagnosis must be supported by all of the following conditions: • The disease cannot be controlled with medication; and • Inability of the life insured to perform (whether aided or unaided) at least 3 of the following 6 “Activities of Daily Living” for a continuous period of at least 6 months: For the purpose of this definition, “aided” shall mean with the aid of special equipment, device and/or apparatus and not pertaining to human aid.
