Illegible notices. Clauses 16.2 (Effective date of notices) and 16.3 (Service outside business hours) do not apply if the recipient of a notice notifies the sender within one hour after the time at which the notice would otherwise be deemed to be served that the notice has been received in a form which is illegible in a material respect.

Illegible notices a notice which is delivered personally or posted shall be deemed to be served, and shall take effect, at the time when it is delivered; and
