Common use of Immediate Supervisor Level Clause in Contracts

Immediate Supervisor Level. Grievances must be initiated by presenting a written grievance to the grievant’s immediate supervisor with a copy to the Human Resources Bureau promptly and no later than thirty (30) calendar days after the grievant or the Union was aware, or reasonably could have become aware, of the incident(s) giving rise to the alleged grievance. For Steps 1 through Step 3 as set forth herein, the Union or grievant shall submit the following information in writing:
