Common use of Immediate Supervisor Level Clause in Contracts

Immediate Supervisor Level. Grievances must be initiated by presenting a written grievance to the grievant’s immediate supervisor with a copy to the Human Resources Bureau promptly and no later than thirty (30) calendar days after the grievant or the Union was aware, or reasonably could have become aware, of the incident(s) giving rise to the alleged grievance. A. The Employee’s name, job title, and worksite; B. The name, address, and telephone of the Union representative, if any; C. The Article(s) and Section(s) of this Agreement alleged to have been violated; D. A description of the alleged violation; E. The relief requested; F. The signature of the grievant or of the Union representative.
