Common use of Impact of Force Majeure Clause in Contracts

Impact of Force Majeure. If because of a Force Majeure Event, either Party is unable to carry out any of its obligations under this Agreement (other than any obligation to pay or expend money in connection with performance hereunder), and provided such Party promptly gives notice to the other Party of the existence of any such Force Majeure Event, then the obligations of the Party affected by such Force Majeure Event (other than any obligation to pay or expend money in connection with performance hereunder) shall be suspended to the extent made necessary by such Force Majeure Event and during its continuance, provided that the Party subject to such Force Majeure Event shall make all reasonable efforts to mitigate the impact of the Force Majeure Event and remove it with all reasonable dispatch.
