Common use of Implementation of Current Year Appropriation Act Clause in Contracts

Implementation of Current Year Appropriation Act. The CMHSP will participate in the implementation of the current year appropriation act which requires each PIHP shall provide, from internal resources, local funds to be used as a bona fide part of the state match required under the Medicaid program in order to increase capitation rates for the PIHPs. The CMHSP agrees to provide local funds to the MDHHS through the PIHP. The CMHSP agrees to provide local funds, in the amount stipulated in Attachment C 7.0.1, to the MDHHS through the PIHP. These funds shall not include either state funds received by a CMHSP for services provided to non- Medicaid recipients or the state matching portion of the Medicaid capitation payments made to a CMHSP or an affiliation of CMHSPs.
