Improvement of Facilities. 12-17.1 Each school shall have a teacher's room which is neatly maintained and has proper lighting, heating, and suitable furniture. Office copiers and computers shall be adequately maintained so that they can be made available for teacher use at reasonable times. 12-17.2 Faculty lavatories shall be neat and well maintained. 12-17.3 No teacher shall be assigned to custodial tasks in the teachers' faculty room, kitchen area, or regular classroom. They shall, however, be expected to keep rooms tidy and free of litter. 12-17.4 No maintenance and/or repair work shall be performed within an occupied classroom during teaching time except under emergency conditions or with the teacher's permission.
