Common use of Improvement of Family Assistance and Support for the Elderly Clause in Contracts

Improvement of Family Assistance and Support for the Elderly. The Consultant also certifies and warrants that it is in compliance with Act No. 168-2000, as amended, known as the “Act for the Improvement of Family Assistance and for the Support of the Elderly.” In the event the Consultant is under a court or administrative order directing it to provide financial support or to fulfill any obligation under the mentioned Act, the Consultant further certifies and warrants that it is in compliance with said obligations. It is expressly acknowledged that this certification is an essential condition of this Agreement. If the certification is not correct in its entirety or in any of its parts, it shall constitute sufficient cause for the Authority to terminate the Agreement immediately, without prior notice to the Consultant.
