Common use of Indemnity from Liens Clause in Contracts

Indemnity from Liens. Contractor shall defend, indemnify and hold each of the Company Indemnified Parties harmless from and against (i) all liens arising from the performance of the Work by Contractor or otherwise caused by any Subcontractor or any employee, agent or Affiliate of Contractor or any of its Subcontractors or anyone else entitled to file a lien under Law; and (ii) any loss, damage or liability (including, but not limited to, reasonable attorneys’ fees and other costs) in connection with any and all mechanics’ liens filed in connection with Contractor’s Work hereunder. This Section 15.3 shall not apply to Liens of Contractor which result from non-payment by Company.

This Section 15.3 13.2 shall not apply to Liens of Contractor which result from non-payment of an undisputed amount by CompanyOwner.
