Independent Corporation. The Provider hereby expressly acknowledges the understanding that this Agreement constitutes a contract between Provider and BCBSM, that BCBSM is an independent nonprofit corporation operating under a license with the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association (“BCBSA”). The Provider further acknowledges and agrees that he or she has not entered into this Agreement based upon representations by any person other than BCBSM, and that no person, entity, or organization other than BCBSM shall be held accountable or liable to the Provider for any of BCBSM's obligations to the Provider created under this Agreement. This paragraph shall not create any additional obligations whatsoever on the part of BCBSM other than those obligations created under other provisions of this Agreement.
