Common use of Independent Operation of Provisions Clause in Contracts

Independent Operation of Provisions. The City and the Agency intend the provisions specifically applicable to the Shipyard Redevelopment Plan and the Shipyard Redevelopment Plan Area and the provisions specifically applicable to the BVHP Redevelopment Plan and the BVHP Redevelopment Plan Area to operate independently to the fullest extent possible, and agree that they may be severed if necessary or convenient. Because portions of both the Shipyard Redevelopment Plan Area and the BVHP Redevelopment Plan Area are included in the Project, the City and the Agency have entered into this Agreement covering both the plan areas for convenience.
