Common use of Independent Research Clause in Contracts

Independent Research. Nothing in this Agreement shall be construed as limiting the freedom of individuals participating in this work, whether paid under this Agreement or not, to engage in similar research made independently under other grants, contracts or agreements with parties other than the Sponsor, so long as the individuals are in compliance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
