The Individual Professional Development Plans clause establishes a framework for employees to create and follow personalized plans aimed at enhancing their skills and career growth. Typically, this clause outlines the process for setting development goals, identifying relevant training or educational opportunities, and periodically reviewing progress with supervisors. Its core function is to ensure that employees have structured support for ongoing professional improvement, thereby aligning personal growth with organizational objectives and addressing skill gaps.
Individual Professional Development Plans. Teachers who are rated at least Proficient on all the standards on the teacher Summary Rating Form will develop an Individual Professional Development Plan designed to improve performance on specifically identified standards and elements.

Individual Professional Development Plans. Individual Professional Development Plans need to be relevant to the goals of the educator, the school and/or the district. District level goals and building level goals shall be used by the LPDC for their work in reviewing professional development plans.

Each teacher shall draft an individual or group professional development plan by October 15 of the school year following the conclusion of his/her previous plan. 2. The committee will be co-chaired by an Association member (to be appointed by the HTA President) and an Admini trator, ideally the professional devdopment coordinator. While the district will have ultimate responsibility for the scheduling of profc·sional development activities throughout the year, including the five professional development days consistent with Article Vll, I a or 1b, it is agreed the Professional Development Committee will have primary responsibility for determi ning the content and implementation of at least one of the five professional days. In order to plan effectively and to guide the work of the committee, the Administration will develop a yearly professional development budget and make it available to the committee at the beginning of each school year.
