Common use of INDIVIDUAL WAIVERS Clause in Contracts

INDIVIDUAL WAIVERS. The Employer may approach individual employees within ninety (90) days of hire to propose an agreement between the Employer and the employee regarding submitting individual legal claims not covered by this CBA to binding private arbitration rather than court. Such an agreement to arbitrate individual legal claims, if made, would not affect the employees’ rights under the CBA. During the month of June each year, employees will have the opportunity to opt-in or opt- out of such agreement.
