Individuals’ Request to Amend PHI. If Business Associate receives PHI from Covered Entity in a Designated Record Set, Business Associate agrees to make any amendments to PHI in a Designated Record Set that Covered Entity directs or agrees to pursuant to 45 C.F.R. § 164.526, regarding an Individual’s request to amend PHI. The Business Associate shall make the amendment promptly in the time and manner designated by Covered Entity, but shall have thirty (30) days’ notice from Covered Entity to complete the amendment to the Individual’s PHI and to notify the Covered Entity upon completion.
