Industrial Modified Duty Clause Samples
The Industrial Modified Duty clause establishes the employer's obligation to provide alternative or adjusted work assignments to employees who are temporarily unable to perform their regular duties due to a work-related injury or illness. Typically, this clause outlines the process for identifying suitable modified tasks that accommodate medical restrictions, such as lighter physical work or reduced hours, while the employee recovers. Its core function is to facilitate a safe and timely return to work for injured employees, minimizing lost productivity and supporting rehabilitation while ensuring compliance with workplace safety and labor regulations.
