Common use of Ineffective Provisions Clause in Contracts

Ineffective Provisions. If any of the provisions of this Capacity Contract, including any part of the General Terms and Conditions is or becomes ineffective, illegal, invalid, unenforceable, inoperative or void, the effectiveness of the other provisions shall not be affected or impaired thereby and will remain in full force and effect. The Parties undertake to replace the ineffective, illegal, invalid, unenforceable, inoperative or void provision by a new and effective operable provision which approximates to it as closely as possible in economic, technical and/or legal terms.
