Influenza immunisation. The 2014/15 National Health Service (NHS) trivalent seasonal influenza immunisation, an inactivated (split virion) vaccination, specifically targeting ‘A/California/7/2009 (H1N1)pdm09- like virus’, ‘A/Texas/50/2012 (H3N2)-like virus’, and ‘B/Massachusetts/2/2012-like virus’, manufactured by Sanofi Pasteur MSD Limited, was administered via intramuscular injection into the upper arm by a trained healthcare professional, as part of normal Occupational Health procedures.
