Informal Preliminary Stage. In the interest of maintaining harmonious relations, the Employee is encouraged to have an oral conference with the Associate Xxxx of the division in which the Employee is assigned, upon discovery of the alleged violation and prior to initiating the formal written grievance process. If the issue is not resolved at the preliminary stage, the Employee can initiate a formal grievance pursuant to the procedure below.
