Common use of Information Request Clause in Contracts

Information Request. (a) The Grantor Trust Trustee shall provide any information regarding the Grantor Trust in its possession reasonably requested in writing by the Servicer, the Administrator, the Grantor Trust Seller or any of their Affiliates, in order to comply with or obtain more favorable treatment under any current or future law, rule, regulation, accounting rule or principle. (b) It shall be the Administrator’s duty and responsibility, and not the Grantor Trust Trustee’s duty or responsibility, to cause the Grantor Trust to respond to, defend, participate in or otherwise act in connection with any regulatory, administrative, governmental, investigative or other proceeding or inquiry relating in any way to the trust, its assets or the conduct of its business; provided, that, the Grantor Trust Trustee hereby agrees to cooperate with the Administrator and to comply with any reasonable request made by the Administrator for the delivery of information or documents to the Administrator in the Grantor Trust Trustee’s actual possession relating to any such regulatory, administrative, governmental, investigative or other proceeding or inquiry.
