Information Technology Services Safeguards. a. The Engineer shall implement appropriate administrative, physical, and technical safeguards, in accordance with State security requirements, that reasonably and appropriately protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information technology services provided to the State. b. The Engineer shall conform its policies and procedures relating to the implementation of security safeguards to comply with TxDOT's information resources security program pursuant to Chapter 202 of Title 1 of the Texas Administrative Code, which provides the Texas Department of Information Resources’ Information Security Standards.
