Initial Assignments a. Staff are scheduled to supervise for fifteen (15) minutes (each supervision), twice each week during the school year. b. A schedule of site supervision needs is created by the Principal. c. No later than the first staff meeting of the school year, unit members will be asked if they prefer a before-school, recess, or an after-school supervision assignment. ● If a unit member does not want an after-school assignment, they will not be given one (however, many choose after school as their preference). ● As to other assignments, staff preferences will be taken into consideration in a fair and equitable manner by the Principal, in collaboration with the DTA site representatives, when creating a supervision schedule. d. A supervision schedule filled in with staff names will be provided to staff within the first two (2) weeks of the instructional school year. e. Teachers will not be required to supervise the parking lot or be assigned traffic duties.

For leases which have a net revenue interest of less than this percentage, the Parties may accept or decline to develop such lease pursuant to the Operating Agreement. If a Party declines, in writing, the owner of the lessee's leasehold estate under said lease shall be free to develop said lease separate and apart from the transactions contemplated by the Operating Agreement.

Should that assignment be reduced, the affected employee may, if he/she chooses, exercise his/her bargaining unit seniority and bump a lesser senior member, who shall also have the right to exercise his/her seniority in like manner. Members who do not have enough seniority to displace another member shall be caused to work a lesser number of hours or be laid off, whichever is applicable. To expedite this process, there shall be a general open meeting at which employees shall be able to exercise their seniority through an oral bidding process. Initial Assignments. 1. Adult School teachers shall be assigned according to the staffing needs of the District Adult Schools. Said assignments shall be consistent with the tenure requirements of the Education Code. Such staffing needs and development of the master schedule shall be discussed with the FAC prior to implementation. The assignment of an Adult School teacher may include more than one (1) adult school and/or site. 2. Assignments shall not be made in an arbitrary or capricious manner.

  • Special Assignments Special assignments shall not be considered breaks in service or affect the privileges and the status of that person with the University. Any special conditions of such special assignments shall be clearly set forth in writing. They shall become binding only after having been signed by the unit member concerned and by the appropriate chancellor, or designee.

  • Additional Assignments The Contractor further agrees to, and if applicable, cause each of its employees to, execute, acknowledge, and deliver all applications, specifications, oaths, assignments, and all other instruments which the City might reasonably deem necessary in order to apply for and obtain copyright protection, mask work registration, trademark registration and/or protection, letters patent, or any similar rights in any and all countries and in order to assign and convey to the City, its successors, assigns and nominees, the sole and exclusive right, title, and interest in and to the deliverables. The Contractor’s obligations to execute, acknowledge, and deliver (or cause to be executed, acknowledged, and delivered) instruments or papers such as those described in this Paragraph 38 a., b., and c. shall continue after the termination of this Contract with respect to such deliverables. In the event the City should not seek to obtain copyright protection, mask work registration or patent protection for any of the deliverables, but should desire to keep the same secret, the Contractor agrees to treat the same as Confidential Information under the terms of Paragraph 37 above.

  • Special Assignment A voluntary, temporary assignment of a bargaining unit employee to duties other than those of his/her position of record that is: a. More than twenty percent (20%) of the bargaining unit employee's scheduled work hours; and for more than thirty (30) calendar days in duration. b. Service on advisory councils/committees are not considered special assignments. Additionally, any deployment of security personnel for security-related duties and functions (e.g., ATLAS, VIPR) is excluded and not considered a special assignment.

  • Collateral Assignment The Owner may assign this contract as collateral security. The Company is not responsible for the validity or effect of a collateral assignment. The Company will not be responsible to an assignee for any payment or other action taken by the Company before receipt of the assignment in writing at its Home Office.   • Room Assignments A. It is the policy of University to assign roommates without regard to veteran status, race, religion, age, sexual preference, disabilities, or national origin. Generally, Student may request to live with a designated student based on a self-selection process. In this instance, Student preference profiles may be considered by Student but will not be considered by University. If Student does not self-select a room space, University will assign a space to the Student. Alternatively, University may try to match roommates based on Student preference profiles. In any case, University cannot guarantee requested preferences in the room assignment process. University may assign or reassign Student without regard to requested preferences to a specific hall, room or roommate. B. If Student executes multiple contracts for housing accommodations in University-Owned and managed properties for an overlapping academic term, University may terminate the earliest executed contract(s). In such instance, University will email contract termination notice to Student in accordance with Section XVII. C. Students without disabilities may reside in Residence Hall rooms which have been specifically designed to accommodate persons with disabilities. In the event a Residence Hall room is needed to accommodate a person with a disability, Student may be required to relocate to alternate University Campus Housing accommodations. In this instance, University shall pay reasonable moving expenses to relocate occupant(s) to alternate accommodations. In this instance, University shall provide no less than three (3) days written notice prior to terminating the existing Contract. In addition, University will also credit $300 to each relocated student in appreciation of any inconvenience the student may experience. D. If permanent space is not available, the UT Arlington Housing Office may place Student in temporary space until permanent space is available. During this period, Student will earn a 25% credit on the daily rate of the room portion of the Contract. If the UT Arlington Housing Office places Student in a temporary space, Student is bound to the terms and conditions of the Contract through the fifth class day. After the fifth class day and before the UT Arlington Housing Office offers Student permanent space, Student may cancel the Contract upon written notice and payment of the prorated amount under the Contract for the number of days that Student occupied the temporary space. E. Only the person(s) assigned by the UT Arlington Housing Office to Student’s room may reside in the room. The UT Arlington Housing Office reserves the right to make changes in room assignments for such reasons as the UT Arlington Housing Office determines to be appropriate in its sole and absolute discretion, including, without limitation, roommate conflicts, pending disciplinary action, non-compliance with University Regulations, and disruptions to the community. F. If Student fails to move to a new location within the Residence Halls within twenty-four hours after the UT Arlington Housing Office has issued to Student authorization or direction to move, Student may be assessed an improper check out fee and referred to the Office of Community Standards for disciplinary action. G. Single occupancy in double rooms is allowed only on University’s prior approval, which may be withheld in its sole and absolute discretion. Requests for single occupancy must be submitted in writing to the Leasing Consultant in University Housing Office for approval. Single room occupancy in rooms designated as double occupancy will be charged at one and seven-tenths (1.7) times the double room rate. If the University has a waitlist for Residence Hall bed space, single room contracts may be changed to double room contracts. University will provide to Student a forty-eight (48) hour notice and the rent will be adjusted accordingly. H. If Student's roommate vacates the double room or if Student’s suitemates all vacate the suite, Xxxxxxx agrees to accept another roommate or suitemate as assigned. Student may be asked to move to another room if requested by the UT Arlington Housing Office. Failure to move may result in Student being charged a single room rate and improper check out fee in addition to a referral to the Office of Community Standards for disciplinary action. I. Room changes may be made only with the approval of the Residence Director. Hall and/or room type changes may be made only with approval of the UT Arlington Housing Office. Students who complete a hall and/or room type change will be required to sign a new contract. Once signed, no changes will be made to the contract until two weeks after the Residence Halls open. Requests for changes will be accepted on opening day and afterwards. J. University reserves the right to consolidate vacancies and close all or part of Residence Halls.

  • Assignment of Contracts (a) Notwithstanding anything to the contrary set forth herein, to the extent that any of the Assigned Contracts or Acquired Authorizations that constitute an Acquired Asset are not assignable or transferable without the consent of the issuer thereof or the other party thereto or any third party including, without limitation, a Governmental Authority (the "Nonassignable Assets"), this Agreement shall not constitute an assignment or transfer of the Nonassignable Assets if such assignment or transfer or attempted assignment or transfer would constitute a breach thereof or a violation of any Law. Seller shall use reasonable efforts, at reasonable cost to Seller, to obtain any consents or waivers necessary to any such assignment. To the extent that such consents or waivers are not obtained by Seller on or before the Closing, Seller agrees to cooperate with Purchaser and to take such reasonable actions, at reasonable cost to Seller, as Purchaser may reasonably request in order to secure any arrangement designed to provide for Purchaser the benefits of such Nonassignable Assets. Seller shall further assign and deliver to Purchaser any net proceeds or net receivables by Seller pursuant to the Nonassignable Assets except and to the extent that Seller has previously provided Purchaser with the benefits of such proceeds or receivables or to the extent the assignment is not permitted under the Nonassignable Assets. In connection therewith, Seller shall enforce, for the benefit of Purchaser, any and all material rights of Seller against such issuer or such other party or parties, to the extent reasonably permitted. (b) To the extent Purchaser receives the benefit of any Nonassignable Asset pursuant to Section 2.06(a), Purchaser agrees to assume and discharge any liability or obligation related to the benefits of such Nonassignable Asset.

  • Shift Assignments When an opening occurs in a shift assignment in an appropriate work group at a location, preference shall be given to employees within the classification who possess the training, ability and any required special qualifications to perform the work required, on the basis of seniority. In the event that no employee desires a shift assignment, employees shall be selected in order of inverse seniority. This provision shall not apply to necessary training assignments. This provision shall not in itself alter the practice of rotating shifts where such practice presently exists. No employee who has a regular shift assignment on the effective date of the Agreement shall be involuntarily displaced from such shift assignment as a result of this Article.

  • Special Assignment Pay The Chief of Police shall have complete discretion to pay two percent (2%) special assignment pay incentive which will be added to the base salary of persons in the Bargaining Unit.
