Common use of Initial Conference Clause in Contracts

Initial Conference. Within ten (10) calendar days after the Date of Commencement fixed in District's Notice to Proceed, a conference attended by District and Contractor and others as appropriate will be held to establish a working understanding among the Parties as to the Work and to discuss the schedules, progress meetings, procedures for handling submittals, processing Applications for Payment, maintaining required records, coordination with Contractor Team Members, and other Project administration matters.
