Common use of Initial Gift Clause in Contracts

Initial Gift. (check all that apply) a. The Donor has or intends to make an irrevocable donation of $ or more in cash or other assets to initiate the Fund. The initial gift shall be equal to or greater than the fund minimum specified in the Donor Advised Endowment Fund Guidelines (the “Guidelines”) attached hereto as Exhibit A. b. The Donor has or intends to enter into a Gift Annuity Agreement with the Community Foundation. That Gift Annuity Agreement specifies that upon satisfaction of the Community Foundation's obligations under the Gift Annuity Agreement, the balance of the funds contributed pursuant to that Agreement will be distributed to the Fund. Prior to the time that amounts are contributed to the Fund pursuant to this Section 3a or 3b, the fund minimum shall not apply.
