Common use of INSPECTION OF CONSTRUCTION Clause in Contracts

INSPECTION OF CONSTRUCTION. ‌ A. The word “Work” includes, but is not limited to, materials, workmanship, and manufacture and fabrication of components. B. The Contractor shall maintain an adequate inspection system and perform such inspections as will ensure that the Work conforms to Contract requirements. The Contractor shall maintain complete inspection records and make them available to the OWNER. The OWNER shall have the right to witness all tests performed by the Contractor. Tests performed by the Contractor are all tests to ensure compliance with the Contract document over and above the testing performed by the OWNER. The OWNER shall have the right to approve all tests including approval of test procedures and test conditions to assure compliance with the Contract Documents.
