Common use of Instructions; Performance Standards Clause in Contracts

Instructions; Performance Standards. (a) AUL shall follow such instructions as are reasonably given to it from time to time by the Company regarding the services rendered under this Agreement; provided that, except as expressly contemplated in Section 7.05, such instructions may not require AUL to act or refrain from acting in any manner not consistent with the Underwriting Guidelines and the Business Framework. The Company shall give all such instructions to AUL in writing and shall specify a reasonable amount of time in which to allow AUL to take appropriate action.
