Insurance Benefits for Summer Work. 20 If the employee’s last regularly scheduled workday in pay status falls on 21 or before the fifteenth (15th) day of the calendar month in which the employee begins 22 limited duration layoff, medical/vision and dental benefits toward which the County 23 has contributed will lapse at the end of that month. If such work day falls after the 24 fifteenth (15th) of the calendar month in which the employee begins limited duration 25 layoff, coverage toward which the County has contributed will lapse at the end of the 26 following calendar month. (Example: Employee A’s last day is July 15: Employee 27 A’s coverage toward which the County has contributed will lapse July 31. Employee 28 B’s last day is July 16. Employee B’s coverage toward which the County has 29 contributed will lapse August 31.)
