Common use of INSURANCE CANCELLATION AND/OR CHANGES Clause in Contracts

INSURANCE CANCELLATION AND/OR CHANGES. In the event that any carrier of any insurance described in 8.4 or 8.4.2 exercises cancellation and/or changes, or cancellation or change is initiated by the contractor, notice of such cancellation and/or change shall be sent immediately to DMAHS for approval. At State's option upon cancellation and/or change or lapse of such insurance(s), DMAHS may withhold all or part of payments for services under this contract until such insurance is reinstated or comparable insurance purchased. The contractor is obligated to provide any services during the period of such lapse or termination.
