Common use of Insurance Certificate and Additional Insured Coverage Clause in Contracts

Insurance Certificate and Additional Insured Coverage. The Contractor further agrees to provide certificates of insurance to the County evidencing the coverages specified in the Insurance Checklist, and including the County as an additional insured. Additional insured coverage is to be by proof of blanket additional insured coverage within the general liability policy or as provided by an endorsement specifying the County as an additional insured to the policy. Contractor’s agent must provide a copy of the endorsement or language from the policy with the certificate of insurance.
