INSURANCE OF WORKS AND CONTRACTOR. ‘S EQUIPMENT Delete the first sentence of this Clause and replace with the following: “prior to commencement of the Works the Contractor shall, without limiting his or the Employer’s obligations and responsibilities under Clause 20, insure to the satisfaction of the Employer:” Add the following words at the end of Sub-paragraph (a) and immediately before the last word of Sub-paragraph (b) of Sub-Clause 21.1: “It being understood that such insurance shall provide for compensation to be payable in the types and proportions of currencies required to rectify the loss or damage incurred” SUBCLAUSE 21.2 – SCOPE OF COVER Amend sub-paragraph (a) of Sub-Clause 21.2 as follows: Delete words “from the start of work at the site” and substitute the words “from the first working day after the Commencement Date” Add the following as Sub-Clause (c) under Sub-Clause-Clause 21.2
