Insurance Premiums During Unpaid Leave. Employees shall be responsible for the full cost of insurance premiums which become due while on unpaid leave. Therefore, an employee will not be required to reimburse the County for insurance premium paid by the County prior to the leave for insurance coverage during a portion of the leave period. The employee must pay the employee portion of insurance premiums while on unpaid FMLA/OFLA leave.
