Common use of Intent of Agreement Clause in Contracts

Intent of Agreement. 29.1 It is the purpose of this Agreement to set forth conditions of employment to be observed between the parties and to provide a procedure for prompt and equitable adjustment of grievances in order that there will be no impeding of work, work stoppages or strikes or any other interference with the production and/or Company facilities during the life of this Agreement. 29.2 It is the further intent of this Agreement to xxxxxx a friendly spirit of cooperation between the Company and its Employees and to this end, both parties sign the Agreement in good faith. 29.3 This Agreement will be binding upon and ensure to the benefit of the parties and respective heirs, executors, administrators, receivers, successors and assigns.
