INTERCONNECTION SYSTEMS Clause Samples
The INTERCONNECTION SYSTEMS clause defines the requirements and procedures for connecting different systems or networks, typically between two parties such as utility providers and customers. It outlines the technical standards, responsibilities, and approval processes necessary to ensure that the interconnected systems operate safely and reliably. For example, it may specify the types of equipment that must be used, the testing protocols to be followed, and the ongoing maintenance obligations of each party. The core function of this clause is to ensure seamless and safe integration of systems, thereby preventing operational conflicts and minimizing risks associated with incompatible or unsafe connections.
