Intermittent Motor Driving Duties Allowance. 23.1. A trainee or junior employee at the APS Level 1 who undertakes intermittent driving duties, involving acceptance of full responsibility for the operation of a vehicle, shall be paid an allowance to raise their salary to 80 percent of that of an APS Level 1 (Adult first salary point), calculated on a daily basis, for each day or part of a day on which they are so employed.
