Introducing Our CSA Farm Share Sample Clauses

Introducing Our CSA Farm Share. A. Becoming a Part of Our Farm Share Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a relationship between our farm and you as our customer. Rather than simply purchasing food, our customers become “members” of this farm share who receive a portion of the farm’s harvest this season. Our Summer CSA runs for 20 weeks, from June 10th to October 23rd. As a member, you are responsible to go to either our pickup location on Saturday at the Canandaigua Farmers Market from 9am to noon, on Sunday at the Brighton Farmers market from 9am to noon OR the farm every Monday from 4-6pm to pick up your share of freshly harvested produce (and/or chicken and/or eggs). You will generally receive 8-11 items of vegetables for the large share, equivalent to one or two grocery bags of produce, or 5 to 7 items for the small share, depending on what is in season. Our poultry share is 20 whole FRESH chickens (between 3.5 and 4lbs each, with a price of $5.50 per lb)- one chicken distributed every week throughout the CSA season beginning June 10th. Half shares for chickens are also available, for a total of ten whole fresh chickens- one distributed every other week during the season. Egg shares are one dozen eggs per week, at a price of $6.00 a dozen as an ADD ON SHARE ONLY, for 20 weeks, beginning June 6th. Our fall vegetable Share will run for 8 weeks, from October 28th to December 18th 2017. One size, 5-7 items.
