Common use of Invalidation of a Provision of the Agreement Clause in Contracts

Invalidation of a Provision of the Agreement. In the event any Article, Section or portion of this Agreement, or the applications of such provision to any person or circumstance is declared invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction or is in contravention of any applicable local, state or federal law, the remaining provisions of this Agreement shall not be invalidated and shall remain in full force and effect. In the event of such invalidation or injunction, the parties shall promptly meet to negotiate a substitute provision.
