Common use of Investigation into Misconduct Clause in Contracts

Investigation into Misconduct. If the employee has been warned a second time and another situation arises within a reasonable period, which of itself would normally have resulted in a warning being issued, then the matter will be investigated with a view to dismissing the employee with due notice (or payment in lieu) or taking alternative disciplinary action, if the misconduct is confirmed.
