Common use of Investment in the Trust Clause in Contracts

Investment in the Trust. The Trustees shall accept investments in the Trust or any Series or Class from such persons and on such terms as they may from time to time authorize. At the Trustees’ discretion, such investments, subject to applicable law, may be in the form of cash or securities in which the Trust or that Series, as applicable, is authorized to invest, valued as provided in Article VI, Section 3. Investments in the Trust or any Series shall be credited to each Shareholder’s account in the form of full Shares at the Net Asset Value per Share next determined after the investment is received or accepted as may be determined by the Trustees; provided, however, that the Trustees may, in their sole discretion, (a) impose a sales charge upon investments in the Trust or any Series or Class, (b) issue fractional Shares, (c) determine the Net Asset Value per Share of the initial capital contribution or (d) authorize the issuance of Shares at a price other than Net Asset Value to the extent permitted by the 1940 Act or any rule, order or interpretation of the Commission thereunder. The Trustees shall have the right to refuse to accept investments in the Trust or any Series at any time without any cause or reason therefor whatsoever.
