INVESTMENT POWERS AND POLICIES. The Foundation will exchange all assets transferred to it by the Church for shares in one or more of the Foundation’s common trust funds (hereinafter called “Fund”). The Church shall have the right to select which Fund or Funds in which to invest. The Foundation shall have the right to reinvest, sell, or hold assets transferred to it by the Church in accordance with the policies of the Fund as they are adopted from time to time by the Board of Directors of the Foundation. Any and all assets held in the Fund shall be invested in harmony with the Social Principles of the United Methodist Church as outlined in the Investment Policy Statement of the Foundation. The Foundation reserves the right to update and/or modify its policies, from time to time, in its discretion. The Foundation shall provide notice to the Church of such changes in writing.
