Common use of Investments and Advances Clause in Contracts

Investments and Advances. Purchase or otherwise acquire any Capital Stock of or other ownership interest in, or debt securities of or other evidences of Indebtedness of, any other Person; nor make any loan or advance of any of its funds or property or make any other extension of credit to, or make any investment or acquire any interest whatsoever in, any other Person, except (i) loans and advances to officers of the Borrowers, provided that the aggregate amount of all such loans and advances does not exceed $25,000, (ii) loans and advances among the Borrowers or any Subsidiary of any Borrower guaranteeing all indebtedness, obligations and liabilities of the Borrowers to the Banks and the Agent pursuant to a guaranty and other agreements satisfactory to the Agent, and (iii) other loans and advances, provided that the aggregate amount of all such loans and advances, together with Indebtedness allowed under Section 7.2(d)(iii), shall not exceed $5,000,000.
