involved. The Department agrees, when possible, to authorize one (1) day off in any calendar year, without loss of time or pay for the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ to attend Association training programs. The Association shall notify the Department no less than fourteen (14) days in advance of such proposed training programs. The Chief of Police, or his/her designee, shall be the approving authority for such time off and may grant exception for notice.
