Common use of Issuers of Policies Clause in Contracts

Issuers of Policies. Issuer of any policy shall have: .1 a Certificate of Authority to transact business in Texas, or .2 have a Best's rating of at least B+ and a Best's Financial Size Category of Class VI or better, according to the most current edition of Best's Key Rating Guide, and the issuer must be an eligible non-admitted insurer in the State of Texas. Each insurer is subject to approval by Director in Director’s sole discretion as to conformance with these requirements, pursuant to Paragraph 11.2.2.
