Common use of Job security plan Clause in Contracts

Job security plan. The length of time the employee worked for the employer, both within and outside the bargaining unit, is taken into consideration for the purposes of application of the eligibility period. The employee does not have to complete a new eligibility period in the following cases: a) when the employee, after having definitively ceased working for her employer, starts working again for the same employer or starts working for a new employer within a period not exceeding 30 calendar days following her departure; b) when the employee is relocated to another job under the job security plan of the collective agreement; c) when the employee joins the bargaining unit while continuing to work for the same employer.
