JOINT AND SEVERAL AGREEMENT. All TENANTS who sign this Lease are jointly and severally responsible for payment of rent to the LANDLORD and for Damages caused to the rental unit (late fees, physical damage, unpaid utility bills, rent in the arrears, etc.). Failure to meet the terms and conditions of the contract by one or more of the TENANT(S) shall be considered a failure of all TENANTS to meet the terms and conditions of the contract and shall make all equally responsible.
