Common use of Joint Committee on Employment Equity (JCEE) Clause in Contracts

Joint Committee on Employment Equity (JCEE). a. The Joint Committee on Employment Equity (JCEE) shall monitor the employment equity processes described in this Article. The Committee shall consist of six (6) tenured/permanent members appointed jointly by the President of the University and the President of the Union. Appointment to the Committee shall be for three (3) year overlapping terms. The Committee shall be gender balanced with representation of other designated groups, where possible, and shall elect a chair from among themselves.

The Parties agree to establish a Joint Committee on Employment Equity (JCEE), within thirty (30) shall monitor days of the employment equity processes described in signing of this Article. The Committee Agreement which shall consist of six (6) tenured/permanent tenured faculty members appointed jointly by the President of the University and the President of the Union. Appointment to the Committee shall be for three (3) year overlapping terms. The Committee shall be gender balanced with representation of other designated groups, groups where possible, possible and shall elect a chair from among themselves.
