JOINT PRODUCTION AGREEMENTS. (a) In any case where Minerals which are subject to a Mineral Disposition are Purchased, Canada agrees that it shall not set apart the Entitlement Land as an Entitlement Reserve until the Band has, subject to the requirements of applicable federal legislation, entered into an agreement to honour the terms of all Joint Production Agreements. (b) Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Band may, subject to the requirements of the Act, enter into an agreement with all parties to existing Joint Production Agreements which meets the needs and objectives of all parties thereto.
