Common use of Jury/Hearing Leave Clause in Contracts

Jury/Hearing Leave. Any unit member serving on jury duty or who is subpoenaed to attend a hearing shall be compensated by the Board at his/her regular rate of pay for each day of such service. The Board shall not be required to grant such pay to a unit member who is an adverse party to a suit against the Board except in an unfair labor practice charge under the provisions of O.R.C. 4117.
