The "KNOWING WE ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE" clause serves to affirm the parties' shared commitment to achieving a positive impact or outcome through their agreement or collaboration. Typically, this clause outlines the intended social, environmental, or organizational benefits that the parties aim to realize, and may include mechanisms for tracking or reporting progress toward these goals. Its core practical function is to align expectations and reinforce the purpose-driven nature of the relationship, ensuring that both parties remain focused on the broader mission or values underlying their partnership.
KNOWING WE ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE. The Parties have agreed to a set of targets to know how we are tracking against the objectives and outcomes of this Agreement. There are two types of targets under this Agreement, for which the Government Parties have the same level of commitment and accountability:
a. Priority Reform targets focus on measuring the change governments are making in the way they work with Aboriginal and ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Islander people.
b. Socio-economic targets focus on measuring the outcomes experienced by Aboriginal and ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Strait Islander people. The Parties agree that the full implementation of the Priority Reforms will support an accelerated achievement of the socio-economic targets.
