Labor Code Section 1861 Certification. Design Professional in accordance with California Labor Code section 3700 is required to secure the payment of compensation of its employees and by signing this Agreement, Design Professional certifies that “I am aware of the provisions of Section 3700 of the California Labor Code which require every employer to be insured against liability for workers’ compensation or to undertake self-insurance in accordance with the provisions of that code, and I will comply with such provisions before commencing the performance of the work of this Agreement.”
Labor Code Section 1861 Certification. Consultant in accordance with California Labor Code section 3700 is required to secure the payment of compensation of its employees and by signing this Agreement, Consultant certifies that “I am aware of the provisions of Section 3700 of the California Labor Code which require every employer to be insured against liability for workers’ compensation or to undertake self-insurance in accordance with the provisions of that code, and I will comply with such provisions before commencing the performance of the work of this Agreement.”
Labor Code Section 1861 Certification. In accordance with California Labor Code section 3700, Manager and its Subcontractors are required to secure the payment of compensation of their respective employees and by signing this Agreement or any subcontract, respectively, Manager and each of its Subcontractors certifies that “I am aware of the provisions of Section 3700 of the California Labor Code which require every employer to be insured against liability for workers’ compensation or to undertake self-insurance in accordance with the provisions of that code, and I will comply with such provisions before commencing the performance of the work of this contract.” Manager shall include this certification by each Subcontractor in each contract with a Subcontractor.

In executing this Agreement, Consultant certifies as follows: “I am aware of the provisions of Section 3700 of the Labor Code which require every employer to be insured against liability for workers’ compensation or to undertake self-insurance in accordance with the provisions of that code, and I will comply with such provisions before commencing the performance of the work of this contract.”

LESSEE in accordance with California Labor Code section 3700 is required to secure the payment of compensation of its employees and by signing this Lease, LESSEE certifies that "I am aware of the provisions of Section 3700 of the California Labor Code which require every employer to be insured against liability for workers' compensation or to undertake self-insurance in accordance with the provisions of that code, and I will comply with such provisions before commencing the performance of the work of this Lease."

LICENSEE and its contractor in accordance with California Labor Code section 3700 are required to secure the payment of compensation of its employees and by signing this License, LICENSEE certifies that “I am aware of the provisions of Section 3700 of the California Labor Code which require every employer to be insured against liability for workers’ compensation or to undertake self- insurance in accordance with the provisions of that code, and I will comply with such provisions before commencing the performance of the work of this Contract.” LICENSEE shall require this certification in all of its contracts related to the License.

In accordance with State Labor Code section 3700, Developer and Developer’s contractors and subcontractors are all required to secure the payment of compensation of their respective employees and by signing this Agreement or any contract or subcontract, respectively, Developer and Developer’s contractors and subcontractors all certify that “I am aware of the provisions of section 3700 of the State Labor Code which require every employer to be insured against liability for workers’ compensation or to undertake self- insurance in accordance with the provisions of that code, and I will comply with such provisions before commencing the performance of the work of this contract.” Developer shall include this certification in all contracts with each contractor or subcontractor.

Construction Management Professional in accordance with California Labor Code section 3700 is required to secure the payment of compensation of its employees and by signing this Agreement, Construction Management Professional certifies that “I am aware of the provisions of Section 3700 of the California Labor Code which require every employer to be insured against liability for workers’ compensation or to undertake self-insurance in accordance with the provisions of that code, and I will comply with such provisions before commencing the performance of the work of this Agreement.”
