Common use of Land Registration Clause in Contracts

Land Registration. 21.10 The Tenant will register the grant and any transfer of the Lease or any right relating to it under the Land Registration Xxx 0000, and will comply with the relevant registration requirements. In doing so, the Tenant will ensure that any requisitions raised by the Land Registry are dealt with promptly and properly and the Landlord will provide such assistance as is reasonably required by the Tenant. The Tenant is to apply to the Land Registry on form RX1 together with the requisite fee for a restriction in the form of the restriction set out in LR13 of the Lease to be entered onto the proprietorship registers of each of the title number(s) to be allocated to the Lease. The Tenant will provide the Landlord’s solicitors with an official copy of the relevant register showing compliance with these requirements as soon as practicable. The Lease is executed as a deed by the parties and is delivered and takes effect on the date at the beginning of the Lease.
